VINS HODGSON, FXAUS 2024

2024 was a challenging vintage, lots of rainfall and not as much sun meant there as a lot of mildew in the vines and the ripeness of the fruit wasn't optimal in all bunches. This meant a very slow arduous sorting at harvest, where they discarded around 1/3 of the picked fruit. 

In this vintage to achieve the balance they wanted in the wines, seeking balance of maturity and acidity they decided to blend the old vines of Faia. (50 to 100 years old) with the cuvée Les Aussigouins. It works wonderfully.
