Alex Wallard has been working with of the best domaine's in Saumur over the last few years, principally with François Saint-Lô. In recent years he has started to produce his own wines, principally with fruit from a small parcel he rents in the village of Berrie, where François is based. but also buying fruit.

The is a delicious blouge style (blend of red and white grapes), 37.5% Cabernet Franc, the rest Chenin Blanc co-fermented in whole bunches, then aged in barrel. Beautiful bright fruit, best lightly chilled, this is ideal summer drinking.
