THE OFFICE, L'ADMINISTRATEUR 2024 CHARDONNAY

Alex Wallard has been working with of the best domaine's in Saumur over the last few years, principally with François Saint-Lô. In recent years he has started to produce his own wines, principally with fruit from a small parcel he rents in the village of Berrie, where François is based. but also buying fruit.

The newest iteration of his delicious Chardonnay, 40 year old vines on schiste, the grapes are fermented in whole bunches and then aged in barrel. Stone fruit, flowers and a minerality and texture that is very beguiling, delicious!
