Alex Wallard has been working with of the best domaine's in Saumur over the last few years, principally with François Saint-Lô. In recent years he has started to produce his own wines, principally with fruit from a small parcel he rents in the village of Berrie, where François is based. This wine is produced from 100% Cabernet Franc, given 8 months rest in barrel, before bottling by hand. Smooth, velvety.
