REMI POUJOL, LE TEMPS FAIT TOUT BLANC 2019

Remi Poujol is considered one of the best grape-growers in France, selling fruit to the likes of Alice Bouvot and Jean Louis-Pinto. He also makes delicious age-worthy wines of incredible value. 

This is the first time we have had his white wine in a good while and we are delighted to have it back, being one of our favourite southern whites. 

A blend of southern white varieties, majority Ugni Blanc, with a bit of Viognier which has been macerated on the skins for ten days, Clairette & Bourbelenc. 

Its brimming with energy, the macerated portion giving a little structure and the Ugni bringing incredible freshness for a wine made in a very hot place.
