REMI POUJOL, BRUTAL 2021

Remi Poujol farms ten hectares of vineyard in Pezenas in the Languedoc. As well as making his own cuvées, he has become something of a go to guy for buying quality fruit in the region, the likes of L’Octavin, La Sorga, Les Valseuses & Es d’Aqui are regular customers. 

The 2021 Brutal is as usual a blend of Carignan & Mourvedre, but given a shorter maceration than usual to bring a wine bright with wild purple fruit.
