MAUDE ROCHETTE FRENCH TON GAMAY 2025

Maude is a compatriot of Emélie Hurtubise, also from Montreal, she has worked in restaurants since she was 18. Montreal has long had a vibrant wine scene and Maude did her sommelier class in 2010 and has since been the wine director at some great Montreal spots.  Ever intrigued by the work of wine growers she travelled many times to French vineyards to  learn about this profession. Finally she got the guts to make the move and friends

Emélie and Raph took her under their wing.

She had been kind of their intern for almost 3 years and they pushed/helped her to get installed and take vines which she did. Now set up independently, she has forged her own style, making wonderfully delicate, bright wines that speak of a singular talent and perspective
