Mathias Barralon is based in a remote part of the Ardeche called Desaignes at an altitude of 600m, he planted his own vines of Pinot Noir, Gamay & Chenin Blanc. The wines have captivated us for a few years and we have finally managed to secure some for the UK

Gamay on granite, from a parcel of half a hectare at 650m altitude. Sublime finesse, elegance and delicacy with beautiful pure fruit, this is absolutely delicious. Just 750 bottles made in total.
