LES FLANEURS, PLUTOT BLANC 2024

Brilliant new producers based in Burgundy, currently making wines from bought fruit and working for domaine's in the area. Laurence is originally from North Wales and Nina from Switzerland, they are now settled near Auxey-Duresses where they also make their wines at the same facility previously used by their good friend Vin Noe. We are excited to follow this project!

33% Pinot Noir from Mancey
33% Marsanne from Belleville-En-Beaujolais
33% Roussanne from Belleville-En-Beaujolais
Vinified The whites were pressed directly and vinified
in barrel with no added sulfites. The pinot noir was macerated for 3 days before
being pressed and married together and put into 228 barrels for finishing ferment
and aging on lies. Note: The pinot took a lot less colour this year than the 2023,
so the wine is definitely not a rosé.

This vintage of Plutot Blanc will unfortunately be their last as the Lycee in Belleville
are going to pull out the Marsanne and Roussanne vines. Revel in the final vintage then, a rounded, white with beautiful texture and bright fruit.
