Old vine Carignan given a long 11 month maceration. The vines are situated on gravel & basalt. Joe chose to makes this micro cuvee this year as the fruit was so good and allowed a long maceration to create something deep, structured and quite profound. Having bought the last bottles from deep in Joe's cellar, this is drinking beautifully right now.
