LE BUREAU DU VIN, L'ADMINISTRATEUR 2022

Alex Walliman has spent many years working with other winemakers around the Saumur region of the Loire Valley, principally with Francois Saint-lo, who he continues to work with. In recent years he has started to make some of his own wines, which we are happy to grab the first releases of. 

This is Chardonnay, from the region, given 5 days maceration and also vinified without topping up, bringing a salty oxidative edge. Rounded and powerful, this will be delicious with some hard cheese. Only 24 bottles made it to the UK!
