LAURENT SAILLARD, LA PAUSE 2024

This is Gamay from his own vines, planted over 50 years ago, on the Clos Roche Blanche estate, a beautiful vineyard, walled by forest. Laurent gives them a two week whole cluster maceration, semi-carbonic, a nod to some of the best Cru Beaujolais, then it's aged in 500l barrel.

2024 was a cooler vintage and has given the wine a featherweight lightness, but still with quite beautiful fruit, a very elegant, fresh and juicy style.
