FRANÇOIS SAINT-LÔ, POUANT 2020, CHENIN BLANC

A new parcel of Chenin Blanc just 500m from Francois' Chai, the terroir is very similar to Breze, Limestone and very heavy in chalk and you can feel the calcaire! 

Two weeks whole bunch maceration, very gently then pressed off very slowly. Aged in barrel for a year. Very crystalline texture, long and wonderful fruit and acidity. Really very wonderful Chenin..
