FRANÇOIS SAINT-LÔ HEY GRO! 2022 75CL

As always this is 100% Grolleau Noir, given a gentle, short maceration for around four days. The first wine I tried from François was this delicious Grolleau back in 2016 when it also clocked in at 8.5% The 2021 vintage really reminds me of that wine, with the same abv. How he managed to pack so much ripe fruit into the low alcohol is remarkable! A beautiful vintage.

2022 was a warmer vintage and this is reflected in a very generous wine, which while rich in fruit clocks in at 9%
