FRANÇOIS SAINT-LÔ, HEY GAMIN! 2023

100% Gamay from a tiny 0.3 hectare parcel. As usual they gave the grapes a 20 day whole bunch maceration before pressing slowly. For the first time though, it was aged in barrel rather than fibreglass, giving a silky, sumptous texture to the bright red fruit. The 2023 is a lighter vintage and this is beautifully floral and fresh, with beautiful red fruit, a wine of real finesse and delicacy.
