DOMAINE GOEPP, SYLVANER 2022

This Sylvaner comes from one of the estate's finest terroirs, in the commune of Heiligenstein, in the lieu-dit
Weinberg, which translates to "wine mountain." Its soil is clay-limestone, and its
vines are over 45 years old, resulting in a
rich and mineral Sylvaner with a beautiful tension, while still retaining a luscious character. Its yields are 40 hl/ha.
Aged for 11 months in century-old oak casks.

The 2022 is quite remarkable given an extended ageing in bottle and is now drinking wonderfully punching way above it's price point.
