This remarkable Gewürztraminer is from a parcel cultivated on the Grand Cru Kirchberg De Barr on very hard limestone and mark. Macerated in whole bunches for 7 days it manages to keep the florals of the varietal in check with a beautiful salinity and freshness. One of the best examples of the style I have tried, with wonderful balance.

2024 was a cooler vintage, bringing a fresher, brighter version of the wine still full of the wonderful aromatics of the varietal.
