CLOS DES FOLIES, BOYAU ROUGE 2014

A pleasure to pick up a couple of cases of the 2014 Boyau Rouge from Clos Des Folies. This comes from very old vines around Berrie in Saumur which were destemmed and given a couple of weeks maceration in old barrels. The long rest in bottle has alllowed the wine to develop into a complex, spicy Cabernet of exceptional length.
