ARNAUD CHAPUIS, OUVERTURE, ALIGOTE 2021

A delight to have the wines of Arnaud in stock, representing a DIY, traditional side of Burgundy that is barely seen, he makes some of our favourites wines from the region, in tiny quantities.

This is his direct press Aligote, given a slow 24-48 hour press in his antique basket press, which gives texture and body to the wine. It has electric acidity, but beautiful fruit and while enjoyable now, we would recommend keeping it for 6 months or so to start seeing it's true potential. We got just 4 cases..
