Wines to drink with the main event: these are wines for the Christmas table

The most delicious sparkling rose. A direct press of Grolleau Noir. A perfect aperitif. Easy and fresh. 

Riesling from a very steep vineyard in Alsace, on hard limestone. The roots of the vines go deep to get nutrients and this helps to bring depth and complexity to the wine which has an impossibly long finish. This will also pair well with smoked fish or even some oysters. Great white wine!

Ugni Blanc, Terret Blanc & Gris, all grown on volcanic soils and pressed direct. Incredibly mineral, layered and dense with herbs and stone fruit, a real favourite. 

A delicious rose, mineral with lovely fruit and enough texture to stand up to food, crowd-pleasing and elegant. 

100% Gamay given from various plots, given around two weeks whole bunch maceration, then pressed off and aged in old wooden barrels. Silky tannins soft red fruit and just so drinkable, this is a perfect all-rounder with or without food. Perfect in the litre format.

From very old vines of Cabernet Franc, given a twenty day whole bunch maceration before a very slow press, then aged for two years in old barrels and another year in bottle before release. Drinking exceptionally well now, this is our pick for the deep red of Christmas day and is one to savour.
